Each resident is a unique individual. While many current residents are from Columbus and neighboring suburbs, many come from all corners of Ohio. Some even hail from New York, Pennsylvania and as far away as Iowa. The major goal of residents is to further their education by attending a community college, a 4-year university, technical school, or vocational training. Many stay in Central Ohio and work as computer programmers, insurance claims representatives, internet specialists, lawyers, counselors and receptionists.

Creative Living is proud of its 150 "graduates" or former residents who have moved out on their own. Having relocated all around the country, they have gone on to marry, purchase their own homes, and work as teachers, physicians and mechanical engineers, just to name a few.

Residents truly are motivated individuals who are directing their own lives and personal care. With the average stay being six years, they view Creative Living as a bridge to independence.
