1. Have a low or very low income
2. Be at least 18 years old
3. Be handicapped - defined as: a person having an impairment which

• is expected to be of long continued and indefinite duration,
• substantially impedes his/her ability to live independently, and
• is of such nature that such disability could be improved by more suitable housing conditions

• physical disability may be the result of a birth defect, disease or traumatic injury.
• medical condition must be stable, even though the disability is permanent.
• individual must possess the maturity and the skills to direct the management of his/her household, personal care and business affairs.
• individual should have goals for realizing his/her potential.

CREATIVE LIVING PROVIDES:

• One person (called a resident assistant) on duty 24 hours a day for incidentals and emergencies who can be reached by an intercom from each apartment.
• An accessible, unfurnished apartment near The Ohio State University campus.
• An opportunity to reach educational or vocational goals.
